I bought this ginger gem to try it out and because it was small but cost a whooping $1.80! This was my first time trying it and I had no idea what it was although it tasted like scone but not so rough.
I searched for Ginger gems and this is what it says: Gems are small, light and fluffy cakes cooked in a very hot oven for a short time. They’re a perfect alternative to scones. (Well like what I said it does taste like scone no wonder I like them!) - so it's like ginger scone??? ewww that on the other hand does not sound that great =)
Well, if you like ginger then this is for you...ginger gem...
Thinking about it now it's also quite true that each and everyone of us is like a gem - small but very valuable and precious!

they're quite old fashioned, I think you need a special iron to put them in... but I love ginger so they are yummy!
Yea it was my first time seeing this and read about it online and how you need special rods to bake them in - Didnt know it was so complicated (as in the equipment lol). I love ginger too!!!
